Google Forms is a tool that allows collecting information from users via a
personalized survey or quiz. The information is then collected and
automatically connected to a spreadsheet. The spreadsheet is populated with the
survey and quiz responses. The Forms service has undergone
several updates over the years.
Webinar is to present a topic that is engaging, relevant and
informative to others; however, some presenters may use webinars to
network or promote a product by following up on participants through surveys,
polling, email or questions that further additional collaboration.
Citation is usually to provide
support or evidence for what you are saying; it tells the reader where this
support or evidence can be found, and it typically does this by providing a
reference to a bibliography, a list of detailed bibliographic information
provided at the end of your document.
Padlet is a great place for gathering ideas,
sharing them and modifying them later. It's like a living, breathing web page.
Users can add links, YouTube videos, files and images to Padlet notes.
A web quest is an inquiry-based learning tool which encourages
students to become responsible for their own learning. Students are provided
with a specific task and the activities to support that task. They are given
links to information available on the web which they use to acquire knowledge.
Rubrics are simply a scoring tool that lists criteria
for projects, assignments, or other pieces of work. Rubrics list what
needs to be included in order to receive a certain score or grade. It allows
the student to evaluate his/her own work before submitting. Instructors can
justify their grades based on the rubric.
Kahoots are multiple-choice quizzes that allow user generation and
can be accessed via a web browser or the Kahoot app. Kahoot! can be used to
review students' knowledge, for formative assessment, or as a break from
traditional classroom activities.
